Here's a wall hanging that the directions called a Memory Quilt. The buttons in the corners are from my dad's Navy uniform and you can see a pair of his Lieutenant's bars too.

This is another wall hanging, a rag quilt of the American Flag:

Wall hanging or lap quilt I've called "A-BUZZ About Autumn":

Wall hanging or lap quilt that still needs the binding sewn on (it will be black). I'm still trying to come up a clever name for this one, any ideas?:

A close up of one of the cat's faces. The lady who does the long-arm machine quilting for me did the design:

I know what you mean about working up the energy to put things together. My twin bedspread is going to be made up of 24 12-inch sampler-type blocks and I have about 1/2 of them done, then the borders to go. I was totally gung-ho when I first started but not so much anymore :)

Mine will be smaller blocks, I think. Which will of course take longer to make, even though they're a rather easy design. Although now I'm thinking of just foregoing the instruction I have and do what I want. Yeah, Loki isn't my Northern cousin (according to my actual name) for nothing ;) And man, I was sooooo enthusiastic and gung-ho when I started too, but then I kinda discovered writing. And not a lot of quilting has been done since, hehehe. :D
I'm so looking forward to seeing the bed spread finished, it sounds lovely.
